High Plains Late Model Series Invades The Half Mile

For two weeks, Mother Nature put a stop to racing at “The Half Mile” but this week the action returns with a very big night of dirt track racing.

This week the Black Hills Speedway will be host to the High Plains Late Model Tour with a $1,000 pay out to win. Drivers from Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota will meet at the track to have a chance to walk away with cash.

Friday night will also feature the Wissota Midwest Mod Border Clash with $600 to win, the IMCA Modified .38 special with $500 to win

Other classes on track this week, 360 Sprints, Wissota Mod 4, Wissota Street Stock, and IMCA Hobby Stock.

Pits open at 4:30pm, and closes at 6:30pm, with general admission opening up at 5pm.

General Admission tickets $20, Seniors/Veterans $15, 12 years and younger over 4’ tall $5, and kids under 4’ are free.
