Test and Tune this Saturday 3pm-6pm - free to the public. Pit Gate open 1pm - closes 3pm. No vehicles allowed in pits that aren't pulling a car trailer. If you are in the pits, you have to have a wrist band / sign in. Car/Driver - $25 Pit Crew - $20 Kids 12 and under - Free

2026 Black Hills Speedway Schedule

Our 2026 Half Mile Schedule! We are looking forward to another great season at Black Hills Speedway!

The Month of Money Points Series returns with Blake's Trailer Sales Opening Night May 8th then TWO $5 spectator entry nights Championship Night of the series concluding May 29th! This year there will be a payout to the TOP 5 overall points in each eligible class! (more info soon!)

Our Pack the Stands event will be held June 5th! The we roll into BIG payout per class specials each weekend following with IMCA Hobby stock, Wissota Street Stock Specials and The HIGH PLAINS LATE MODEL Tour returning June 26th!!

Our Annual FIREWORKS display will be July 3rd during the ASCS Northern Plains Region Sprint Car Tour stop @ The Half Mile! The IMCA Modified .38 special and Wissota Midwest Modified Border Clash the following weeks. ASCS Northern Plains Region making one more stop July 24th and Wissota Mod 4 Black Jack Special the following weekend!

The 6 DAY BORDER WARS Points Series with Gillette Thunder Speedway returns starting with The 9th Annual South Dakota Lottery Half Mile Nationals Thursday August 27th - Friday August 28th this year and Saturday August 29th @ Gillette Thunder Speedway for the first 3 nights of the Border Wars Series! The following weekend is the final 3 nights of the Series @ Gillette Thunder Speedway during the 26th Annual East West Clash the following weekend!
